Confused:
Does anyone understand why in the movie Grease, during the song "Grease Lightning", Danny Zuko runs around with a roll of plastic wrap? Is it in connection to his hair, or is it in reference to the car? See minute 2:26:
I'm so confused...
p.s. I'm totally a Kenickie girl.

I've heard it's in connection to the original lyrics that were cut out. Something to do with plastic wrap being used as a method of contraception. Gross.
Oh and if you blink you might miss it but Jon Trovolta rubs the saran rap on his crotch in that scene.
Woah. I can't believe you actually got an answer to that question. And I can't believe that I've just been accepting it as a dancing implement.
There's a new reality show on MMMusic...Celebrity Rehab...Kenickie is on it, apparently he's addicted to everything under the sun...If you want to preserve good memories of Rydell high's bad boy, don't watch it....it will make you super depressed...
Wow. Susie. You are a fountain of information.
*bows to you*
p.s. It confuses me that they'd cut out the lyrics dealing with contraception (gasp! how grotesque!) but not:
"With new pistons, plugs, and shocks
I can get off my rocks
You know that I ain't bragging
she's a real pussy wagon..."
I'm all about Kenickie too.

Did you see that SNL skit in the Christopher Walken one where they had to clean up the song because of it's content? "I can get of my rocks" became "flocks flocks flocks" and "She's a real pussy wagon" became "Have you ever seen a dragon?" Classic.
